Employee Assistance Program

According to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, at any given time, 25 percent of an employee group is experiencing personal problems that impact their work. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offered by Family & Children’s Services offers professional and confidential assistance to help employees with problems that may arise individually or in the family.

Studies have shown that when employees are provided with help for their issues through an employer-sponsored EAP, their performance and productivity increase and their absenteeism decreases. An EAP can reduce an employer’s disability costs, medical costs, pharmacy costs and workers compensation costs.

Please contact the agency or your employer to see if your company has an EAP contract.
